Outlook Express is blocking the weekly newsletter attachment in the email. Error message: "OE removed access to the folowing unsafe attachment in your mail: . . . ". |
| |
By default, Microsoft Outlook Express (version 6 and above) is set to block all potentially unsafe attachments. If your computer is running an antivirus software with the latest virus definitions (virus list), you can quite safely disable the attachment-blocking feature within Outlook Express in order to receive attachments within emails you receive.
To stop Outlook Express from blocking all potentially unsafe attachments, do the following:
1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click on Tools
3. Click on Options
4. Click on the Security tab above
5. Under the Virus Protection section, UNCHECK "Do not allow unsafe attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a Virus".
6. Click on Apply and then OK.
You should now be able to access your Holst newsletter attachment. |
